The KeyManager application from ATNSOFT will help you save time by allowing you to associate various actions with regular, sequential, and long key presses and mouse button presses. You can set it so that by pressing a certain key combination, you will launch an application, open a webpage, paste text, create an email message, launch the screensaver, mute the volume, or restart your PC.

32 as well as 64-bit Windows editions are supported by the KeyManager application. You will be able to easily install it on Windows 7, Windows Vista, and older Windows editions all the way down to Windows 2000. Through the installation process you will be guided by a straightforward setup wizard that will ask you to choose the installation directory and if you want a KeyManager shortcut on the desktop.

In the upper left hand corner of KeyManager’s interface, right where you expect it to be, there’s a traditional File menu. Underneath it there’s a section with various buttons – for accessing the Options menu, for adding a new action, for removing actions, and so on. The large pane underneath these buttons displays a list of all the actions you set up.

There are various actions that you can easily assign to regular, sequential, and long key presses. For the purposes of testing this software application, I set it up so that when I press Shift+F, the findmysoft.com website opens in my default web browser. There are other actions you can set up, like emulating key presses, pasting text into an application, launching an application, opening a file, opening a folder, creating an email message, launching the screensaver, turning the volume up or down, muting the volume, restarting, and shutting down your PC.

You have 30 days at your disposal to put KeyManager to the test and evaluate the functionality it has to offer. When the trial is over, you will have to get a license to keep using this handy tool on your PC.

Save time and get things done efficiently by assigning various actions to key combinations.

Pros

KeyManager provides support for numerous Windows editions (32 and 64-bit flavors). You can easily assign regular, sequential and long key presses and mouse button presses to different actions, like opening an application or accessing a file. You won’t have any problems getting accustomed to the application’s interface.

Cons

Free to use for a 30-day trial period.
